A Nice Surprise

Our German Oldenburg registered mare Rhosemary (Rosentanz x Fürst Heinrich) actually comes from a Hanoverian damline and posted big scores for AHS mare inspection. With 9s on head and neck and 8s on hind leg, overall conformation, type, walk, and trot, Rhosemary finished with an overall 7.83 - a score that made her one of the top mares for the year, all at the age of 13 and with 8 foals to her credit. Rhosemary was bred by Mo Swanson and was an Oldenburg Mare of Distinction and overall Champion of her Mare Performance Test for GOV as a 3-year old with very good scores. Her dam is maternal half-sister to Bundeschampion and Grand Prix stallion Callaho’s Benicio. Her current year filly Frida Kahlo QC was named a Gold Medal Foal and is being retained for further development under the Quantico name.
