Elite Oldenburg Mare of Distinction from the mareline of Benicio
From the highly-regarded breeding program of friend and mentor Mo Swanson, Rhosemary is sired by premium Hanoverian licensing stallion Rosentanz and out of Elite Stute Fhlora by Fürst Heinrich. Rhosemary finished a very good performance test as a three-year old with highlight scores of 8 on rideability and 8.5 on free jumping. Based on her inspection and performance test scores, she was also named a Special Premium Mare with the German Oldenburg Verband. She has now been designated an Elite Stute for her super production record with numerous Premium offspring and successful riding horses. Rhosemary's foals all inherit her high level of beauty, elegance, and the character and gaits to excel under the rider.
At Dressage at Devon 2022, her daughter Frida Kahlo QC (by Franklin) won the Two-Year-Old Fillies class, was Champion Filly, Reserve Champion Young Horse, and highest placing Hanoverian with scores to 85+%! Rhosemary had a stunning colt by Cum Laude in 2023 that sold quickly into a development home.

In the Pedigree
Rosentanz was named Premium and would be the auction price highlight at the 2003 Hanoverian licensing in Verden. He subsequently won his 30-day test as a three-year old and continued success through sport and breeding, bringing the Pan Am Games horse Rosemarin and the approved stallion and PSG successful Rocazino.
The dam Elite Stute Fhlora, sired by World Young Horse Champion Fürst Heinrich and out of SPS Valencia, is the maternal half-sister to the highly popular breeding stallion and performance horse Callaho's Benicio. Benicio competed through Grand Prix level and was the celebrated Bundeschampion of the Six-Year Old Riding Horses in 2011 with huge scores of 10 for walk and trot, 9.5 for general impression, and 9 for the canter.
