An Early Christmas Present

We are happy to welcome Wildrose by Escanto PS OLD and out of VPr./El. Weisse Rose (by Grand Prix stallion Licotus x Rubinstein x Barsoi xx x Inschallah x) to the Quantico program. Sire Escanto PS was Bundeschampion of the 4-Year-Old Riding Stallions this year with three times the score of 10 (trot, canter, rideability), as well as Oldenburg Champion and two-time stallion test winner. The dam herself is an Elite Stute based on production, with offspring placing 3rd at M level at the Oldenburg Championships in Rastede this year.

This filly was named an Elite Foal in Oldenburg and is from the celebrated damline of Weissena (Olympic Gold Medal winning mare Weihegold OLD, Grand Prix horse Total Hope OLD, popular sire Viva Gold OLD, Statesman OLD). She will remain in Germany and, we hope, will form the basis of our breeding efforts abroad. We searched for months for the right filly and the planets aligned on this one over dinner with our good friend Carolin Kathmann. We are thankful that she will continue to grow up at Zuchthof Kathmann and look forward to this continued collaboration with Carolin, Josef, and Andrea.
