Two Homebreds to Dressage at Devon
Quantico Sporthorses left a mark on Dressage at Devon 2023 with two of our homebred offspring in the breed division: Fidelis QC, by Feinrich and out of Hanoverian Premium Scantolina (by Scolari) in the Current Year Foal classes and Han. Pr. Can. Fabienne QC by Franziskus and out of Royal Celeste FH (by Royal Classic) both in hand and under saddle. Both of these girls were also successful at breed inspections with the American Hanoverian Society this Summer with top designations. We are always happy to return to Devon and thank the top notch show organizers and volunteers for giving us a fun, enjoyable event to close out the competition year.

Fidelis QC Becomes Our Second Devon Foal Champion
In the Current Year Fillies class, our Gold Medal awarded Fidelis QC topped the leader board with a 78.825% for 1st place. Her trot in hand scored an individual 8.5! Much like the half-brother Foo Fighter QC, this filly loves to show off in a big environment and was victorious in the Foal Championship. This is the second Devon Foal Champion that Scantolina has produced for our program. Fidelis was also the highest placing Hanoverian for the open breed show, our fourth to do so. Super client and owner Kat Sepka was on hand to help in the barn and watch her superstar dance in the ring. She looks forward to developing this special filly in the future!

Fabienne QC Shines Under Saddle in the Dixon Oval
After an impressive outing at her mare performance test weeks earlier, Fabienne QC remained in top form for her return to Devon. This was only her second time out under the rider and she presented herself admirably, schooling under the lights and in the busy warmup in a confident way. She was 3rd in a large class of Four-year-old and Older Mares Under Saddle on Tuesday morning and showed well in a competitive Maiden Mare class on Wednesday. Following 14 years at Devon, this was Quinnten's first time riding in the Dixol Oval, and on a homebred no less!
