End of 2021 Wrap-Up

A Super Busy Yet Successful Year
It's hard to believe we have already reached the end of another year. 2021 has been one of ups, down, loops, twists, and plenty of surprises along the way. We had two super foals this year, both selling into wonderful homes, with two more coming for 2022 (read more about our 2022 foal crop here). COVID still influences how we go about daily life, but luckily have still been able to get the horses out and about over the last year. We are hunkering down for the Winter with nice thoughts of warmer Spring days and what will hopefully be a positive and productive 2022.
Our Dressage at Devon winning mare Scantolina finished the requirements of her Hanoverian Premium title by producing a healthy colt by the Grand Prix stallion Fabregas, the big moving Foo Fighter QC. He was sold pretty quickly to FEI Dressage rider and trainer Kelly McGinn who owns and operates her own facility in MD. SP/El. Rhosemary had a very beautiful, friendly colt by the KWPN Stallion Performance Test Reserve Champion Lowlands, Lenny Kravitz QC. We had music on the brain this year! Lenny has been sold to AA Dressage rider Jody Baumgartner from CO.

Breed Shows and New Horses
We were back at Dressage at Devon this year with Scantolina and her colt Foo Fighter QC. After missing the show in 2020 due to COVID, we were really happy to be back with our own horses. It was quite a successful week and we came back home with the 2021 Dressage at Devon breed show Foal Champion and a feature on EuroDressage! We also added the coming two-year-old Finvarra CSH to our program as a future development horse. He has a very interesting pedigree as a son of the FEI successful stallion Finery and is out of a daughter of the highly regarded Holsteiner sire, Contender. The dam is also a full sister to the approved stallions Contester I and II and the Australian Olympic Event horse Bendigo. Big gaits and rideability with a Holsteiner damline all in one!
We look forward to a rewarding 2022 for ourselves and the rest of the equine community.
